Cookieless tracking
Measuring website traffic without storing cookies or personal identifiers on the visitor's device.
Cookieless tracking is a way to measure website activity without setting cookies or persisting any identifier on the visitor's device. Counts such as pageviews, sessions and visitors are derived from the request itself and stored in aggregate.
Because nothing is written to the browser, there is no cookie banner to show and no personal data to protect on the visitor's device.
Clickbase offers cookieless tracking as a per-site mode you can turn on in Tracking settings. The default mode for a new site is cookie-based, which keeps a first-party identifier across days so returning visitors are counted correctly. Switch to cookieless when avoiding a consent banner matters more than cross-day identity for that site.
